camping overview

Camping is included at the Loch Ness 24 for all ticket holders ONLY and includes Friday & Saturday night. You will be given a camping pass to wear on your wrist at all times. This wristband will contain essential race info so please make sure you wear it.

The car park and campsite open at 15:00 - 22:00 Friday and reopens 6:00 Saturday and closes 14:00 Sunday. The campsite is located next to the event base and on a flat grassy field. Please note that our team will be dismantling the campsite thereafter so we cannot keep it open for those wishing to camp an additional night.

NOTE: Some of the following may change if ground conditions are very wet, we will confirm all camping info in the final pre-email before the event.

Cars you will be able to park next to your tent.
Camping together If so please all arrive together so you can pitch tents at the same time, we kindly ask tent space is not reserved for late arrivals as we may need to fill open spaces with other tents
Campervans are welcome and can park next to tented team mates (no electric hook ups are available)
Caravans We can allow some caravans on site, please email us if you would like to bring yours.
Drinking water is provided throughout the event
Toilets are provided at the event base and camping area
Showers are not currently available onsite so best bring the compostable wet wipes!
Unsupported Solo (without any support crew) have priority in camping closest to the course for ease of access to essential nutrition and supplies provided we have space left

NEVER COOK, BBQ, LIGHT FIRE OR STOVE IN YOUR TENT OR AWNING
NEVER TAKE OLD BBQ's INTO YOUR TENT OR AWNING
ALWAYS 'DEAD OUT' ANY FIRE/BBQ WITH WATER

Strictly no open ground fires, disposable BBQ's or ground scorching allowed

Small raised BBQ's or small fire pits under tight control & constant supervision are permitted
Be very aware of embers flying into tents - If too windy or very dry ground conditions no fires will be allowed
Position any fire or stove a safe distance form any tent or vehicle and have a means of extinguishing the fire

points will be placed within the campsite area - make yourself familiar with the locations

Quiet time will be from 23:00 - 07:00 (Fri & Sat night). Please respect those around you, especially those who are resting the night before the event or between laps.
Litter we have a limited number of bins so please take as much with you as possible.
Driving is not permitted on the campsite after 11pm on the Friday until 6:00am Saturday, as well as during the race.
Dogs and well-behaved owners, are welcome. Please keep them on a leash and clean up after them!!

SPECTATORS, SUPPORT CREWS & CHILDREN

Day spectators are FREE
If spectators/support crew would like to camp they can purchase an additional weekend camping pass HERE and they will receive a camping pass wristband to wear at all times
Children are welcome. 2 x under 12 are FREE to camp with one adult camping pass or ticket holder

Support Crew are allowed to pass essential nutrition/kit over the fence/along the course to their participant but are NOT permitted into the transition area.
Spectators & children are not allowed on the course at any time.

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

We are joined by the Store House serving up a delicious range of food from 3:00pm on Friday

Drink Me Events will be providing a bar with refreshing beers, cocktails, spirits, fresh smoothies and juices from 5:00pm on Friday
